Description

An original 1982 Europe Press. The record has been graded as Very Good (VG) condition and the cover has been graded as Very Good (VG).

Cover is showing some edge wear and some corner wear.  There is a small crease on back.  Cover is close to being graded VG+

Includes printed inner sleeve with lyrics which has an approx 10cm split at the bottom and some light ring wear. 

Under bright light, the vinyl record shows some hairline scratches and scuffs.  Has some light background noise in some quieter passages like the start of Number Of The Beast and Hallowed Be Thy Name.  Plays really well though.

Record now lives in a new rice paper sleeve.

The Number of the Beast is Iron Maiden’s third studio album, released on 22 March 1982 in the US and 29 March 1982 in the UK. It introduced Bruce Dickinson as the new vocalist and was the final album with drummer Clive Burr. The album achieved both critical acclaim and commercial success, becoming their first to top the UK Albums Chart and enter the US Billboard 200 top 40. It features hit singles like "Run to the Hills," which was Iron Maiden’s first top-ten UK single. The album sparked controversy for its religious imagery and themes in the US. Since then, "The Beast" has become a well-known nickname for the band, featured in various compilations and live recordings.
