Metallica – Metallica (Black Album) (1991)
The game-changing Black Album. Released in 1991, Metallica’s self-titled fifth studio album marked a thunderous new chapter for the band—and for heavy metal itself. With producer Bob Rock at the helm, Metallica refined their thrash roots into a more polished, punishing sound that was built for stadiums and the radio alike.
Housed in the stark, all-black sleeve with the barely visible coiled snake logo, this album isn't just music—it's history. Whether you’re a longtime fan or a new collector digging into Metallica’s catalog, this is a must-have cornerstone of any vinyl collection.
